SAGA FESTIVAL

SAGA is a new 3-day festival of ALDA which will take place every year usually in early  June. The take-off edition of SAGA that I've raved took place on 10-12 September 2021 as a postponement of the original date due to Covid.

The nearest airport is Henri Coanda International airport which is only 10 minutes from the festival. You can get to the festival by a Train or Taxi (Uber or Bolt). You can also use the local electric scooters to and from the festival, which can be found at various locations within the city, and you just top up with your phone. They are very cheap, practical and a fun way to attend the festival from your accommodation.​

SAGA is located in Bucharest, Romania. The festival though takes place at ROMAERO, which is an aerospace company in Bucharest that is now used for large events.

SAGA provides 2 huge Food Courts , one just after the entrance and another one between the Source (Mainstage) and Heat (Techno stage), and Bar Stands at the sides of each stage and also in a location in the middle of the festival.

It also provides a huge number of Lockers which are password protected that you will be given at the time of payment at the Lockers Desk.​ Moreover, it provides a Lost & Found Area ​within its Merchandise Stand, where you can buy a variety of products including t-shirts, hoodies, caps, flags etc.  Additionally, SAGA provides Top-Up Stations where you can top up your wristbands either by cash or card, and also to get a refund for any unused money left in your wristband. Lastly, it also provides Info Desks, where you can ask any question or problem you may incur at the festival.

SAGA does not provide a campsite, however it provides various package as a combination with the festival tickets. You have to book separately your accommodation on your own.

SAGA is an amazing 3-day festival experience. It consists of 5 different stages, where you can listen to different genres of music, from EDM to Techno, there is a stage for each type of raver. And the best lineup you will ever see at a festival. It was my first time seeing so many artists, including Nicky Romero, Carl Cox, Fisher and many others, at the same festival. I highly recommend it to any raver, especially to those who want to travel with low budget.
