TOMORROWLAND WINTER

DATE
Tomorrowland Winter takes place in late March every year. The festival edition that I have raved was the second edition, 3 years after the first one due to Covid.

TRANSPORTATION
The nearest airport is Grenoble airport. From there you can take either the bus or Taxi (have in mind that taxis are too expensive, around €250-€300 one way) to take you to your accommodation at Alpe d'Huez. Another option is the Lyon airport, which also provides buses to Alpe d' Huez. There are also shuttle buses that connect Alpe d' Huez village with Tomorrowland Winter festival area, in case you are not staying near the festival. Tomorrowland Winter also offers Bus + Flight packages during its Ticket Sale.

LOCATION
Tomorrowland Winter takes place at the magical French Alps of Alpe d' Huez, one of the best European Ski resorts.

FACILITIES & AMENTITIES
Tomorrowland Winter provides various Food Courts within the festival area with many food choices, and also it provides Bar Stands at multiple areas and also at the back and sides of many of its stages. It also provides a huge number of Lockers near the stages of the festival area, at an extra cost though. Additionally, it provides a Merchandise Stand ,also known as TML by Tomorrowland, with a huge variety of products including t-shirts, hoodies, caps, flags etc. For all the Facilities & Amenities you have to use Tomorrowland's digital coins which are the Pearls, and have to top up your bracelet via your Tomorrowland account in order to pay or from the Top-Up stations that you will find at the festival area.

ACCOMMODATION
Tomorrowland Winter offers official accommodation packages with a wide range of categories. For your lodging, you can choose Hotels, Chalets, and apartments between 4 categories: "Wood", "Bronze", "Silver", "Gold".

OVERALL
Tomorrowland Winter is a-must festival for skiers/snowboarders and festivals lovers. Only if you are a fan of both you will have an unforgettable time there. The second edition which I have raved had many changes from the first edition, such as a reduced capacity due to Covid, and also the mainstage was indoor rather than outdoor due to the risk of snowfall. However, I personally found the festival area small with not so many stages, facilities and amenities. I was waiting more from the team of Tomorrowland. Tomorrowland Winter needs improvements, both on its lineup, with more top class artists and also on the festival area, to add more things to do. There was only one huge mainstage, and another small underground stage (CAGE), but the lineup for the CAGE stage was poor in relation to the mainstage's. Personally, if I ever visit Tomorrowland WInter again, this would be in 3-4 years, and only if I see improvements to the areas that already addressed. As a conclusion, Tomorrowland Winter is a perfect festival overall, only if you are a ski/snowboard and festival lover. It is an expensive festival, and does not worth to attend only for party.
